Southwest Gas - There is a $25 connection fee that will be billed. A deposit may be required on an individual basis. A letter of credit from prior utility company will waive deposit. Phone number is (702) 365-1555

Las Vegas Valley Water - You will receive a bill for a $100 deposit. If you show them your closing escrow paper, they will waive the deposit. They will also accept letter of credit from prior utility company. Phone number is (702) 870-4194

Nevada Power - Deposits are based on previous usage. A deposit will be refunded in full after 12 months or a satisfactory payment record has been made. A letter of credit from another utility company is also acceptable provided there were no more than 3 late payments or one returned check. Phone number is (702) 367-5555

City of Henderson Water - Does not require deposit or proof of ownership. Phone number is (702) 260-8444

City of North Las Vegas Water - You will receive a bill of $150 deposit but if you call back with the escrow number, it will be waived. Phone number is (702) 644-1484

Boulder City - Boulder City is serviced by Southwest Gas. Water, electric, sewer and trash are provided by City of Boulder City Utilities. A deposit of $125 is required by the city. The $25 is charged to read the meter and unlock box. The $100 is a deposit which is refunded in seven months. Phone number is (702) 293-9244

Republic Services - Provides trash pick up and is $30.40 for three months. Pickup is twice a week. You may request recycling crates that are picked up every two weeks and large trash cans which are $12 every payment period by calling. Phone number is (702) 735-5151

Sprint - they are the local telephone carrier. Cost of original connection is $47.20. Basic monthly rate is $12.63 plus taxes. Each extra line is $13.90 per month. Installation for each additional line is $29.95. To re-wire jacks for additional lines is $67.50 for the first jack then $19.00 for each additional jack. Cost for Voice Mail is $6.95 per month, Call Waiting $6.00, Caller I.D. $9.00 and a non-published number is .77 per month. Line guard is $4.45 per month.
